IonLabs is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to learn about our AI systems, explore our examples, and get in touch with ease.
Our commitment
We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build, not a one-time checkbox. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for digital experiences — and to keep improving as our site evolves.
What we've done
This site was designed and tested with accessibility in mind. Measures in place include:
- Keyboard access — every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Screen-reader support — semantic HTML landmarks, headings, labelled form fields, and ARIA roles/states where needed.
- Color contrast — text and essential interface elements are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Accessible dialogs — pop-ups move focus into the dialog, trap focus while open, close with the Escape key, and return focus when dismissed.
- Audio alternatives — our voice examples include a synchronized on-screen transcript, and can be started and stopped by the visitor (nothing plays automatically with sound).
- Reduced motion — animations are minimized for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
- Responsive & zoom-friendly — the layout adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops and supports browser zoom and text resizing.
How we test
We evaluate accessibility using a combination of automated tooling (including the axe accessibility engine), manual keyboard testing, and review against the WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. Automated tools cannot catch everything, so we continue to test manually and welcome feedback from real users.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. We are actively working to resolve any issues we find, and we prioritize fixes that affect people's ability to understand our services or reach us. Some content provided by third-party services may not be fully under our control.
